IBNeko's Journal-Nyo~!
Oh and...
iJournal (the livejournal client for MacOS X) has been updated. Or rather, it was updated a while ago... and now it's much much better.

It can save entries (yay!) and it can automatically do so every X minutes so no more lost entries! It also lets you keep a log of entries on your local hard disk somewhere.. mmm, and there were other spiffies but I've forgotten what they were.

I'll begin work on the IBCorner -> IBCorner@livejournal.com crossposting tomorrow, after exams and before lily get's back so I can whine at her about the DDR Tournament. We have 8 pre-registered people, 5 who are club members and helping out in the tournament somehow, so we're not getting money from them. I was hoping for at least that many non-club people T.T I don't know how many people will actually stay after and wait until 11 for the tournament to start. :P Evil cafeteria timing. Sucksucksucksucks. So anyways, if you go to RM, tell people to come to the tournament. Or come watch. Or something.

Physics studying is more or less done. I need to get started on math. Should NOT have wasted so much time curled up on my bed dozing off and trying to grow catears and a tail. Then again, I was tired from not getting enough sleep last night.

I'm going to go take a shower. =.= I want to fall asleep again and not study for math. 'cept that would be more than very bad, since I don't know my grade for this quarter and I fear what I might have gotten. ::dies, stabs corpse, and dies again, to be reborn as a beautiful non-existent angel who can't take math exams because she's non-existent:: ...'cept that wouldn't work. 'cause I'd fail. bah.

What'd be wrong with cat ears and a tail? ^_^

iJournal? Maybe I'll give it another look.. for now, I've just been using the LJ web interface, and adding the occasional tag by hand.

BTW, you have encountered me before.. it shouldn't be difficult to work out. ^_^

Nothing be, it's just, I wasn't really trying... would be nice to have cat ears and a tail.. but I think first I'd need to figure out where my normal ears would go... Most catgirls have long hair which covers the question of whether she has normal ears or not. Unfortunately, being a guy at the moment, I have rather short hair and either with or without normal ears, it would look strange. I suppose if I went further and wished for a even more feline face, it might work out, but.. ::shrugs::

Hmm, that was longer than I had planned. Oh well.

iJournal's been changing, kinda like Adium (AIM client, very nice, pretty reliable), 'cept at a slower rate.

Oh dear.. I have? ^^;; erm.. ::scratches at his nose with a paw:: I'm afraid I really don't remember.. must I work it out? Or will you tell me if I ask?

It's true, catboys in anime are quite rare, for some terribly unfortunate reason. As for where to put the human ears.. well, DiGi Charat gets around that quite nicely, I think.. there's got to have been a good cosplay portrayal of her, surely. 'Course, in my case, it'd be red panda ears, but you may've guessed that from the icon. ^_^

Mmm.. I'm going to have to watch that DGC "Fantasy" video game opening sequence again, now.. so cute.

A posting in ahbou recently made a very good point - what happens to a good bird when they die? Do they gain a second pair of wings? How about dragonflies? Could a triple-winged dragonfly fly? Would the wings be feathered?

Next time I'm in the Bay, I'm going to have to grab rabitguy and rewatch Haibane Renmei. Absolutely superb series.. and at least it did get picked up, unlike - inexplicably - Princess Tutu. (And something like Divergence Eve is licensed almost immediately? Hey ho..)

Welll.. another clue: 5500. ^_^

Oooh, you're umm.. person on hotline! yes... drat. Forgot your handle though, but it had Panda in it? GreatPanda? no, that' doesn't sound right... Erm.. GiantPanda? ^^;; ::goes back to look in http://www.reed.edu/~solomona/Forever/list.html :: 'cept you're not there. Nor do I have you bookmarked.. or if I do, I've forgotten your server name. Or... were you the one who hosted balor's server temporarily for a while? so long ago... o.O

I put way too much information on that chii list... ^^;;

DGC "Fantasy" video game opening?

Heh. But who said angels have to have wings?

Haibane Renmei was wonderful... finished it recently. Princess Tutu I'm watching at the moment.. episode 10, actually. Not exactly too fond of the art, but overall, it's interesting enough.

Oo, Enzyme Animase is back up at the moment. No sign of Ruta's, sadly - busy with the fun of University, no doubt. (And as far as I know, Ein never resurfaced..) I did look after Balor's for a little period after his successful attempt to escape to (near) Osaka, yes.

The "Fantasy" opening was, I understand, from a DiGi Charat game - essentially a short music video, "Welcome to my heart". Come to think of it, I could upload it, if you're able to bring your server up..

HR caught me early on - with most series, I'm able to tell whether I'll enjoy it quite rapidly, and it certainly began with some style. After the first few episodes, I was wondering where this was going to be leading - would we find out what lay beyond the wall, and the origin of the haibane? It didn't seem likely, though - that'd be too clear-cut, and the series was enjoying building up the atmosphere and setting. The twist in tone caught me by surprise, as they undoubtedly intended, leading to that powerful, harrowing, and rewarding climax.

PT took a little time to properly find its stride, I'd say - the first five or so episodes threatened to make it rather formulaic, with a piece of his heart being found each week, in some different way. It does progress, as you've seen, with the characters all changing, developing quite considerably. And all, of course, with that superb soundtrack.. definitely one of my top opening themes/sequences. (I've also got the full versions of the opening and endings, if you'd like; the same singer was also responsible for the Fruits Basket opening)

Very sweet icon, btw. ^_^ I need to find that animation again.. not one I can watch too often, but a beautiful piece nonetheless.

DGC=DiGi Charat? oooh, ok. Hmm, if you recommend it, feel free: server's almost always running@darwin.servehttp.com unless my router's messed up and blocking the hotline port again. Hmm, if you had an account, I don't remember the login or password ^^ Guest l/p: ilove/anime

I wish we found out more about the Haibane and the world over the wall... Kinda reminds me of that isolated kingdom in the Naked Empire, by Terry Goodkind, part of the Sword of Truth series. Mayhaps it was something like that... (I'd give a summary, but dinner calls and I must be off soon)

Mmm, may ask you for those opening and ending songs after I finish the series..

http://darwin.servehttp.com/temp/flash/ ^^ I've kept the flash... feel free to download and watch as often as you want...
