The Scarlet Pimpernel

Yet another to watch.

Encore! is beautiful... For some reason, I like Encore's version of Madame Guillotine better. Might be encoding, I dunno, but there's more... sound depth.

There are amusing similarities in melody... between J&H's Murder, Murder and The Scarlet Pimpernel's Madame Guillotine. Both by Frank Wildhorn, I believe? (Someone check me on this...)

Ne, Lady, got any other suggestions for musical soundtracks to listen to?

[edit] Oh, huh, http://www.thepimpernel.com/cgi/production.cgi?production=457-TJSta | Thomas Johnson HS's going to be putting on The Scarlet Pimpernel. May 5-14. Right as final exams run... which means there's a chance I might be able to come back to take a look.

Speaking of which, I need to purchase tickets to the Les Mis showing here... it's a week before final exams start next semester though... which means there's probably hour exams scattered in that week, so I'll have to get one of the weekend tickets, which means more expensive-ness. ARGH.

[edit2] Yeah, Falcon in the Dive is madly similar to umm... what was it... some J&H song.

One down, Three to go

Japanese. Could have been worse. Could have been better. My weakness lies in vocabulary and notably grammar-verb/adj forms. Otherwise, I had no trouble listening or reading, as far as I thought. Listening.. I think watching as much anime as I do really helps...

Upcoming exam: Math.
Review method: Go over Hour Exam II, look over Basics for chapters covered in hour exam II, look over basics and stuff for chapter 7 and 8.
Time available: 9-11,11:30-12:45. 3 hours, that is, assuming I manage to wake at 9.

After that, Chem.
Review method: Hour exams, terms, formulas, I dunno. I hate chem. The exams are always hard as hell (below~). And um. Something.
Time available: Latest, starting at 4:30, until 5:30, 6-6:30. And hour and a half to cram, oh joy.

Then ECE.
Review method: previous hour exams, and looking over my weaknesses. I'd look at the practice exam online, but that hurts, just looking at it. So um, I'll look at notes and previous online questions instead. And online tutorial/lesson pages.
Time available: Latest, starting at 10 PM, until 1-2 AM. Exam's at 8, so realistically speaking, I don't think I'll have the time to study before it happens.

Broke my watch, as earlier mentioned. And then my glasses a few hours prior. Well, not break, but I was cleaning them on my shirt and I popped out a lens.

Still don't know what's up with my watch. It randomly beeps, and the seconds start flashing, and then none of the buttons work. That's how I popped the strap off, while madly button-pushing. *_sigh_*

Math...

85, up to 90, if I get everything right, and the teacher feels generous. Maybe 60-70 if the teacher's having a bad day, and I get lots of smaller things wrong/leave out important details in explaining this-n-that.

Chem next, 2 hour - 30 min for food - 20 minutes to travel to exam location: ≈1 hour.

::sighs:: Ow, headache.

Couldn't figure out if those were chewable Tylenol or not.. oh well. (Ended up swallowing them) And no, Lady, it didn't say. I looked all over the bottle, and the box that it came in.

Head needs to stop hurting. While it's not insane pain, it's nagging, a bit like the sleep-too-much-headaches. Or slept-too-much-in-a-bad-position headache. 'cause my neck hurts too.

Mmm, so this makes the first bit of medicine for more than several months.

And yes, Belinda, I will feel better. So save yourself the trouble of commenting, I know you care, k? =^.^= Seeing proof that you care annoys me. Or bugs me, for some reason~

Anyways, now to study. Argh.

Two Down, Two To Go!

[edit]
You know, at this rate, I'm not going to have the ability to study for ECE. I've already hit the point where it's just.. OMG, more fucking studying? Hell, it's like IB+AP EXAMS ALL OVER AGAIN~ WHEEE. 'cept in a compressed, three day period for four exams, each 3 hours long (although not necessarily taking the full three hours).
