Adium 0.8~

Oh, Adam, what have you guys done to Adium?

Well, I guess there's been improvements (file transfers appear in a window~ yes!), but... custom away messages aren't saved anymore (ie, upon quitting with an away message up, restarting adium won't cause you to start with that away. And pulling up the custom away message thing is a pain.)

Accounts, to sign on, and such, are now on the bottom of a very long menu (due to the number of saved aways I have).

Messages, while more... customizable, are now less so, because you need to learn how to edit the layout crap in order to change things. As in, you edit files now, instead of changing options. XP

Buddy list view options have increased massively - much more customizable, almost as good as the original Adium (1.6?). Props!~

It's much more... disgustingly userfriendly. Such as the ugly "Events" preferences "pane". It's a copy off of AIM's events sorta thing, and the general setup (lists? Must click on each to add an event, one by one... needs multiple-item select.

Accounts, are now shown as a list (like the events), and editing them triggers a new drawer-window from the windorbar. I liked the older version, mostly because there's less... fancy crap. fancy crap=more steps=slower.

[edit] Oh, and the Growl update? It made the bubbles bigger (like, there's an extra line for some odd reason). ::annoyed::

Watching it makes me think of how... love... is really messed up. In this world, anyways. And it certainly explores that. Especially in episode 4...

General love in the series thus far:
A older guy (not that much older.. college age) who loves the main character and will, he say, die for him.
A girl, who also loves the main character. She also says she'll die for him.
The teacher of the main character, who loves the older guy. Or has a crush.
A dorky boy who loves the girl, and would die for her.

die, die, die, die, die. So silly. As the teacher noted, you shouldn't say you'll die for someone (or for that matter, something), because then life will be over and you won't be able to love them anymore. And they won't be able to love you. (well, not really... you _could_ love a corpse, but you won't get loved back... and that's just... unhappy.)

I have had an online stalker for over a year now, who IMs me on AIM to tell me that he loves me. Pretty random too, 'cause we met over hotline (an old sharing client-server thing)... And thus far, pretty harmless. (firedragon, if you're reading this, you really are a stalker... ¬.¬;;; )

yeah. I need to sleep.

Slowing down time is possible. It just takes inordinate amounts of energy to do so. 'bout... 3-4 Suns.

As is moving objects through time. Although it doesn't cost as much, apparently.

(Yeah, I don't know what I'm talking about. I am studying for my physics final, but... >.> ::too easily distracted:: hell, this wasn't even related to harmonic motion.)

Ah fuck....

I think I failed that Physics final exam. T_T There were things I just didn't know. This is what I get for picking an 8 AM lecture session and not going. Well, not like those lectures really taught me anything... much of it is really just... doing problems and knowing how to do them. And how to use the way-too-many-formulas. I really needed to do well... I don't want more Cs... my GPA is bad enough. I should have stuck with plan B~ which was to study the past exams. Instead, I went with plan A~ to study the Cutnell textbook for concepts, and then problems.

I don't like being unhappy.

...happy news, happy news...........
...My NewerTechnology battery came in today! So I just finished replacing my iPod battery. Everything appears to be alright. The iPod hard drive is amazingly small. As is the battery. Instructions were easy to follow, although I was worried at points... Anyways, it's charging right now... ::crosses his fingers:: I hope I didn't break anything further....

Adium 0.81 released.

Damekko Doubutsu 10's been released, whee. May it cheer me up...
