Dear LJ Abuse team.

Dear LJ Abuse team,
You guys work way too fast. I didn't even get a chance to taunt the idiot who posted in lj_everywhere.

Hi, this is Brad. I just registered this account for fun, check it out.

What I would have posted:
::snickers quietly from his corner:: No, you're not. You're a brainless idiot. I must, however, thank you for your post, and the existance of your journal. You have made me feel intelligent again. So again thank you, for being stupid.

(Oh, yeah, by the way, you should try to do some of the things in your pictures on your journal*, instead of photoshopping them - even though I doubt you have the capabiliy to photoshop. You probably just copied them from another sorce. Hotlinking, most likely. Anyways, as you try the things in those pictures, I would advise having a phone nearby with 911 on speeddial. 'cept, hopefully, you'll be too ignorant to, and die in the process of trying. But that would be, without a doubt, a good thing, since the world would be less one moron who thinks homosexuality is an insult. To quote monty python, "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough water! I fart in your general direction! You mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!".)

*He had random photoshopped impossibilities, like oversized anuses, naked girls photoshop-amputated legs and arms, gay porn, anime porn, scat, and a very, very random picture of Team Rocket, from Pokémon. In general, stuff he probably thought was perverted and revolting (most of it was, actually... trying to dirty brad**'s name with that. ::mutters::). Note: I'm using "he", because I'm assuming that it's a guy. I'm pretty sure most girls aren't that stupid. Or blatantly so, anyways.

**Brad is the creator of LiveJournal. If you didn't know that, shame on you. And now you know.

Grrr...

Let it be known that I hate Cocoa and ObjC and the stupid, hard to understand error messages.

Perl, oh, how you have spoiled me!

And Java too. Hrumph.

There's also a lackage of lots-of-useful-docs and sample-code for reading through. Or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. I dunno. Meh. Blargh.

...not giving up yet though. Current problem:
Socket thingie isn't reading data? Or returning data back. I know it's sending it - my local webserver logs the connection. However, it doesn't appear to be receiving data..? I need to figure out how to log properly (NSLog?), then abuse that. The debugger is nice, but looking at it makes me boggle.

Shadow of the Giants has been released online in eBook form (finally). Now to read, kill my eyes, then buy the book. Or I could wait for it to hit the libraries........naaaaah. =^.^=

[edit]
Oh jeeze, sorting out my iPod and putting on new stuff took out... nearly 1.5hr of my time. It's almost 4 AM. ::meeps::

Small, slightly annoying (only slightly annoying, 'cause they don't spawn more) pop-ups are making it through safari's pop-up blocker again.

Wheee~

Went ice skating with random now-seniors. =^.^= I kinda know how to do a hockey stop. But I'm still too scared to try while going fast. Can't seem to figure out where my center of balance should be. Tried go from skating forwards to skating backwards, by putting my feet into a wide v, so I spin, then push off backwards with the momentum I had while going forwards. Ended up falling ^^;; Then tried (on Lisa's suggestion) the one knee down thing that the ice rink guards were doing. Tried that and fell as well ^^;;. Still, 'twas fun.
