Sweet. Mulan Complete Soundtrack.

So apparently a _complete_ soundtrack _was_ released! Unlike the soundtrack released by Disney and available everywhere.

Notably, this one contains the soundtrack from the scene where Mulan cuts her hair and dons her father's armor, and rides off into the night.

The song title is Short Hair, track 7 of Academy Promo, as listed here:

Found the above link here.

It's on eBay for about 50 dollars: http://cgi.ebay.com/MULAN-Jerry-Goldsmith-LIMITED-IMPORT-COMPLETE_W0QQitemZ280010992233QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

Alternative title: Emperor Entertainment EE-CD 300900

And fortunately, aMule (Err, eDonkey?) has answered my prayers~ I've found a few copies floating around - most around 105.5 MB, in a zip file. Baloo release? There's also a 385.37 MB rar file. There's... 1 source for the last one. More sources for the other, but... eh, I dunno. Not connected to anyone yet . . . .

Javascript opens doors to browser based attacks

Rather disturbing news, although I can think of ways of making it useful.. especially in tech support: connect to this page, and we'll retrieve details of your mucked up self-installation and tell you how to fix it. :D Or patch all your computers in your house. Although that might be a bit harder to do, since that actually requires running software on someone's computer. But I think that could be done...

Heh, yeah, it'd be a nice white-hat hack. Create a javascript, that, when loaded, will automatically cause all computers on the network to:
-Run antispyware (trendmicro online!)
-Run antivirus checking (...dunno)
-Install the latest windows updates (and firefox, mwahahaha)
-and uh... tell uses to tell their friends. :D

(yeeeah, I know it's probably near impossible, since it looks like the way their pinging other computers is via some odd method that wasn't meant to be used to ping.)

Mulan Complete Soundtrack

Jerry Goldsmith - Mulan (Complete 2Cd Bootleg - 160Kbps - Baloo).zip
Filesize of 105.5 MB (110,666,293 bytes)

So far so good - I'm listening to it right now and up to track 24. There's a few glitches here and there, but... eh, dunno.

100 downloads, 7 days. Tell me if you guys somehow manage to download it 100 times.

And feel free to post it to your journals if you want.

Hmmmm.... Amazon... Groceries!

Rather spiffy, although they only carry non-perishables. Not a real problem there, but it would possibly mean saving a few cents if we get free shipping and no tax.

At least I don't think tax is charged... Not for maryland, anyhow?

Speaking of no tax, Virginia's having their first Sales Tax Holiday.

In 2006, the Sales Tax Holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2006 and end at midnight on Sunday, August 6, 2006.

During Virginia's Sales Tax Holiday, purchases of school supplies selling for $20 or less per item, and articles of clothing, including footwear, selling for $100 or less per item, will be exempt from sales tax.
