Mrrr....
What do you do when you think someone's ignoring you? And you worry about them? Even though you said you wouldn't? But you're silly and stuff? And that they have a legit (although very often used) reason/excuse - that they're busy? Should you bug them continuously just to get tiny tidbits of information and make sure that they're ok, or should you just let things lie for a bit?

Erm. If I were in that situation... I wouldnt continuously try to get info cause I think after awhile they will get annoyed. :P I would just say something like: I know you say youre okay, but Im still worried about you. You know I care so if you need to talk or anything Im here for you.
And then you dont bother then / let things lie for awhile.

Heh....

Heh, see I have been in this exact same situation just a bit ago... The only difference was that I had not said I wouldn't worry about the person... The person was a friend of mine who lived in Singapore at the time (whereas I am in the states), and alot of stuff was going on in her life. At one time I was writing things but never recieving replies and so for 3 or 4 months I felt like I was talking to a wall, but that I could hear someone crying on the other side... The only source of news I had about my friend was her livejournal, and well she didn't have very many happy posts, she was incredibly busy with all the problems in her life and so expecting a reply would not have been right anyways, but it was hard... All I could do was keep trying to talk to her... And thats what I did, but over time my life got pretty busy, final exams etc. but I tried to write encouraging messages to her... in the end things got better basically across the board for her, and then she started talking to me again. I would write longer encouraging messages in your case, not neccessarily to bug, but more to show that you care, and to just let them talk to you when the time is right. Don't bug them continuously, but do stay in continuous contact. If it starts to get worse, find other people who can help you understand... maybe other friends of the person...

Good luck is all I can say...
