IBNeko's Journal-Nyo~!
(and a sad conclusion to the above story.)

Yay, Howl's Moving Castle's out in theatres! Now to wait for a subbed version.. ::sighs::

Hehe. I quote: "In the beginning, there was Joe Average. And Joe didst buy himself a computer and conneceth it to the Internet. And with his computer, Joe did surfeth, and readeth email, and playeth many games. And Joe looked upon the Internet, and it was Good.

But while Joe did possess knowledge of the Internet Good, he did not understand that Evil too lived on the Internet. And he patcheth not.

Then one day, Joe didst unknowingly go to a Bad Place, and much Evil befell his shiny new computer.

How Evil? Very, VERY Evil..."

Mind, this is from a semi-technical description of how malware takes over a computer. The above was posted only for my amusement... the articles/diary entries themselves may not be too clear to most. part 1, part 2, part 3, and part 4. And interesting read, however. Though I have to admit to not understanding a good majority of the hows involved..

Wow, teehee, so cool! Sushi machines!

That amusement link is a portal of evil, I tell you, evil! And so horribly funny. ^_^;

Wish I could get that oceana.org video to stream, but they must have messed up the compression wildly - on a 512kbps connection, I only see a sort of raster scanning updating of the image, as if it's meant to be some multi-megabit stream. Lowering the claimed connection speed (which in turn should indicate which version of the file to serve) doesn't seem to affect matters, but perhaps going right down to dialup speed might result in something usable.. I should drop them a line. What do you see? Here, it's fine for the first second or two, then updates only sporadically.

I wonder if there's such a thing as a sushi vending machine? Not just delivering pre-packed packages, but actually making it up on the spot.. if there isn't, there should be.

Mmm, Quicktime doesn't appear to be working right... Tried VLC and QuickTime Player. Dunno what's wrong.

Now that'd be cool. I'd love to see one.. sushi, whenever I want it~! =^.^=

Hmmm, WMV version works perfectly.

The sound effects hurt. -.-;; and honestly, it came across as more cheesy/stupid than cute/must-save-dolphins!

Although, honestly, I don't know how I'd make it better. Or more appealing, without killing the message and making it boring, so I really shouldn't criticize...
