I've got bad news and good news.

The bad:
Sometime in the past week, or perhaps even before that, the database backup system died. It can't connect to the database that IBCorner's based on, so it made empty database backups. Which means the lastest backup is currently an old May 5th 2004 copy.

The good:
It appears that the problem lies within mysql not starting up in the first place. o.O I boggle.

Probably one of the new Security Updates that blew it away.

Yeah, started the database (MySQL), and all appears to be working now. Running the backup script...

But um, for no one to notice this... Do people still use IBCorner for private posts or posts that they keep friend-filtered? I know ummm.. whathername still posts to it once every two months or so with a quote...

I should finish the download-your-journal script, I think. Forgot how far I was. How do people want your journals in? PDF? Someone had worked on something like that for, and I probably could get it for IBCorner.
