In other news, I'm getting a lot (more than usual, anyways) of application crashes. It's all random bad memory accesses to 0x000000a or something like that. Am suspecting failing RAM? o.O That would be bad. Very much so. ::sighs::
[append] Ok, hardware test reported a hard drive issue. WTF? Dunno what sort of test Apple's Hardware Test did... but further Disk Utility checks all FAILED with an error of -9000-something. Diskwarrior reports that the directory structure is too badly corrupted to work on. I boggle.
It makes more sense then random RAM failure or random hard drive hardware failure (SMART status: verified - so all's good there). 'cause I did download some large thing overnight that filled up my hard drive. And I've had past occurances where filling up the hard drive caused cascading corruption somehow.
