IBNeko's Journal-Nyo~!
I need to type slower. I've been noticing, as of late, increased typos and, well, just missing letters.

Problem 1: My brain thinks much too much faster than my fingers can respond.
Problem 2: My fingers type words on autopilot - as in, they're used to certain combinations of letters, and so brain says word, fingers type word, there no longer any spelling involved. Well, not consciously anyways.
Problem 3: I don't bother going back and spellchecking.

Solution? Slow down, I guess. But that's hard. ::sulks:: Or I could start spelling everything that I type.

Yeah . . . we are having the same problems, which isn't surprising.

Also, I type names instead of words . . . which is a problem.

well, it hasn't gotten that bad, at least not that I've noticed... then again, my eyes tend to automatically correct bad grammer before passing it onto my brain, so I can't proofread my own work...

The worst is when you start typing words that sound the same but are spelt totally different. Then you've got issues.

Heh, hasn't happened to me yet... well, no, scratch that, it has. Mainly including you're/your, and their/there/they're.

Better than thinking slower than you type.

nah, thinking slower isn't that bad. Then again, I suppose it could be a problem if you get pressed for time in programming.. but the debugger will check your program, while I don't have an auto grammer check for livejournal and AIM...

I've mostly resigned myself to perpetually being a bit behind in programming.  What I really meant by thinking slowly, though, is when we have to write / do anything in English and History.
