Granted, their system seemed like a combination of a lot of Karaoke VCD / CD+G systems. Didn't get a chance to check their Japanese song offerings, but hell, I'd go back just for the musicals. Kinda missed seeing random videos in the backgrounds, but eh, I guess I'll pass on that for lower quality words rendered on a solid color background.
Also, they charge by minute, which is probably good.
We went during their happy hour (5-7 PM Weekdays) for 30% off their karaoke rooms. This was followed by about 20 minutes of non-happy-hour, at 20% normal price (a "Just Opened" promotion). Total per person with a rather overpriced sushi party plate ($27) came to about $20 ($17.50+tip). (Total before tip for our group of 4 was around $70, I believe.)
